Preconception Meal Planning Services

What Is Preconception Nutrition?

Preconception nutrition is the practice of optimizing your diet and lifestyle in the months leading up to pregnancy to support fertility, hormonal balance, and overall reproductive health.

It focuses on building a strong nutritional foundation for both egg and sperm health, supporting regular ovulation, improving energy, and reducing inflammation in the body.

Rather than a restrictive diet, preconception nutrition is a personalized, whole-food approach designed to nourish your body so it is ready for conception when the time is right. Every choice is intentional, supporting long-term reproductive health, not just short-term goals.

Step By Step

STEP 1

We Match

The first step is setting up a discovery call with our team. Let us understand your lifestyle, goals, and preferences, all of which will be documented in your custom profile. We then match you with one of our holistic chefs. You’ll then have a chance to talk to your chef in-depth about your needs and review your first menu together.

STEP 2

We Plan & Personalize

Each week, your chef creates a personalized menu just for you, no matter how complex your needs are. They take into account your preferences, sensitivities, and goals. You’ll receive your menu 72 hours in advance of your scheduled service day and will get a chance to provide modifications to your chef.

STEP 3

We Shop

The cost of premium groceries are included in your service. Your holistic chef does all the shopping and ordering. All produce is organic and we shop only for what’s needed to reduce waste. Our kitchen is stocked with high quality pantry ingredients – we don’t use any highly processed ingredients like refined sugars or seed oils.

STEP 4

We Cook

Your holistic chef will spend anywhere from 3-5 hours cooking for you in our commercial kitchen. All meals are packed in our reusable glass containers, labelled, and placed in insulated cooler bags. Your meals are delivered the same afternoon by our friendly delivery team. Our drivers always give you an ETA when they leave the kitchen so you know when to expect your meals!

STEP 5

You Eat

With Fresh In Your Fridge, meals are ready to go. Simply reheat and enjoy them! Let your chef know what you loved and what you didn’t, and they will plan next week’s menu accordingly. Your reusable containers are picked up with your next delivery, no need to deal with recycling or excess packaging!

My partner and I have been doing Fresh in your Fridge for over 3 months. It really is a wonderful service, we have several dietary restrictions (plant-based, low fodmap, and gluten-free) and somehow our chef comes up with new creative recipes week after week. While other meal services may provide meals that taste really good, FIYF ensures that every recipe is balanced and uses only unprocessed whole ingredients that are fresh and bought the day before. The chef they paired us with is also really great, she’s easy to communicate with and is happy to make any adjustments we want to make. The service is also zero waste and comes in glass containers which was important to us. The entire FIYF team has been awesome to work with, highly recommend.
